The husband & wife team Charles and Dora Stergar met in Florida in 2010 while completing their massage studies.
Although having very different backgrounds (Charles a former Army Officer, Dora a professional singer), they were joined by a common passion in helping people overcome pain and achieve wellness.
Upon graduating from massage school they joined forces and established Massage as Art, LLC. Since then, they have assisted numerous clients relief conditions such as back pain, neck pain, plantar fasciitis, shoulder pain, migraines, and many other muscle-related disorders.
Now relocated to Greensboro, North Carolina they continue to fulfill their passion by contributing to their new community with their healing touch.
To help improve our clients’ health and quality of life by providing affordable, specialized massage therapy in the Greensboro, High Point, and Winston-Salem area.
PLEASE NOTE: We are not taking any new house calls at this moment . Only existing clients. All appointments are at our Greensboro Office (2307 W. Cone Blvd. Suite 204-A. Northwestern Office) Thank you!
First, we want to thank you for allowing us to do what we love: help you feel better through our therapeutic touch! If you are a “massage veteran,” you know what to expect; but if this is your first time receiving therapeutic massage (good for you!), below you will see a breakdown of procedures to guide you. We provide everything needed for a session including linen and oils (lotion upon request). All you need is a quiet, big enough room (approx. 7’x10’) where we can place our professional-grade massage table!
We will arrive 10 minutes before appointment time to set up the table, fill out the intake form, and create a relaxing atmosphere with soothing music.
The therapist will step out to wash their hands while you undress to your comfort level and get on the table under the sheet and blanket.
Only the body part that is being worked on will be uncovered. The rest of the body will be properly draped at all times with the sheet and blanket.
Throughout the session we will make sure to use the appropriate pressure but please feel free to let your therapist know of any discomfort at any point. Myth buster: “no pain, no gain” does not apply to massage!
When the session is over the therapist will step out to wash their hands while you get dressed. And then… You will feel better than ever!
